A local established business owner from Sheffield is hoping to use his past customer service expertise to bring a professional approach to his latest venture.
Jon Fields has launched Ovenu Sheffield South East which serves homes and businesses throughout Mosborough, Owlthorpe, Beighton, Crystal Peaks, Hackenthorpe, Gleadless and surrounding areas.
Jon, 50, is now hoping to establish the business with the intention of expanding the operation with sub-contractors in the future.
Jon said: “I had been looking for a change in career and had looked into the home services industry, particularly oven valeting, as every home has an oven! I have many years’ experience working with customers and offering a professional service, which will stand me in good stead.
“I am now hoping to expand the firm once I have established it further which will provide employment opportunities in the future. It is an exciting period for me, which will be challenging, but one that I will relish.”
Ovenu is a franchise network made up of more than 100 businesses owned by men and women working throughout the UK.
Rik Hellewell, Founder and Managing Director of Ovenu, added: “Jon has a real determination and hunger to succeed as he begins this new venture. He has always lived in the area and knows it well and will be able to count on Ovenu’s support network, as he aspires for expansion in the near future. I would like to wish Jon all the very best.”
The Ovenu valeting process involves dismantling key components of an oven such as the door, interior panels, fan and shelves and placing them into design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic products to clean the oven parts. The whole process takes around three to four hours and leaves the oven, hob and exterior in immaculate condition.
"I am now hoping to expand the firm once I have established it further which will provide employment opportunities in the future."
