Independent estate agent Peter David Properties has strengthened its position on the high street after joining the growing love2move network.
The family-run firm, which has four branches in West Yorkshire, is now able to provide clients with an added dimension – combining the very best of local knowledge and expertise of the local housing market with an innovative online presence.
The new web service allows homeowners to sell their properties online for a fixed fee, whilst still having access to the support of experienced staff based in the firm’s Brighouse, Halifax, Hebden Bridge and Huddersfield branches.
With so many town centre businesses under pressure, Peter David Properties believes the link-up adds a new dimension to its range of services and helps cement its continued high street presence.
It is the only estate agent in the Calderdale and Kirklees area to offer the fully flexible service that allows house hunters to browse properties easily and communicate directly with sellers, book viewings and make offers via the online dashboard.
The advantage of the love2move network is that customers also receive the additional reassurance and support of an experienced local estate agent, providing accurate valuations along with advice to ensure a maximum return and speedy sale.
Anyone considering selling their home through love2move with Peter David Properties is offered an opportunity to trial the online route and, if additional help or support is required, they can visit one of its high street branches and have the option to upgrade to a more traditional service.
The service includes ongoing support from instruction to completion, professional standard photographs, a full property brochure and advertising on Rightmove and Zoopla, as well as the love2move platform.
love2move, launched in Lancashire in 2017 by traditional estate agent owners Mark Worrall and Georgina Cox, has expanded into a nationwide network of 22 offices and has an enviable record of achieving an average 99 percent of the asking price when selling homes.
Peter David Properties, which is both an estate agent and lettings service, was founded by Noel Wood in 1996 and is very much a family-orientated business, with 13 of its 17 staff working with a family member within the business.
Noel Wood said: “We are delighted to be working with love2move which allows us to offer a range of services to suit every client’s needs. It gives us access to a whole new market, those who would rather sell their homes online and who want greater control of the whole process.
“We believe it brings an added dimension to our business which will support our continued presence on the high street. Clients benefit from the convenience and accessibility of the online service whilst being reassured that, should difficulties arise, they can still receive the support of our experienced staff.”
Mark Worrall, Director of love2move, added: “In this day and age people demand instant results and the process of buying a house is no different. At love2move we have put buyer and seller in direct contact to speed up the house buying process and remove any obstacles. We believe that by working with established, high street estate agents we offer clients the best of both the online and traditional estate agents.
“We’re delighted to welcome Peter David Properties to our rapidly expanding portfolio of forward-thinking, high street estate agents. As a family-run business, we look forward to establishing a strong and productive partnership.”
"We believe it brings an added dimension to our business which will support our continued presence on the high street."
