The Broadway Shopping Centre is moving into the future with the unveiling of new electrical vehicle charging bays in its car park.
Customers of The Broadway and its car park can use two electrical vehicle charging bays free of charge during the car park opening times.
Located on level 3, the charging bays have a four-hour maximum charging time restriction place on them, with space for four vehicles to charge at any one time. The time restriction also allows for as many cars to get use of the bays as possible during the day.
The new charging bays were opened to the public on Monday, March 19th.
Rob White, Car Park Manager at The Broadway, says: “We feel that the use of electrical vehicle charging is going to increase dramatically in the coming years.
“The installation of these charging bays will help the environment and the local community in general, by contributing to lower carbon emissions in the city. We’re always determined to provide our customers with the best in new and renewable technology, and this launch is a step in the right direction for Bradford.”
